Traffic Management Training - TTM Worker.

We run Waka Kotahi workshops to get your staff ready for working as a crew member in a Temporary Traffic Management crew

Unit Standards:

US 31958 - Explain the role of and operate as a TTM worker on the worksite under temporary traffic management

Level 3 - 5 Credits

Who should attend:

Anyone with limited experience in traffic management that needs a base understanding of temporary traffic management. This workshop includes the basic practical elements of working in a traffic management crew.

There are no prerequisites for this workshop.

Category A & B Traffic Management Mentoring.

We can take care of the traffic management coaching and mentoring needs of your staff. This will get them ready for their practical Category A & B assessments.

Tasks

TMO - maintain a closure: alternating flow control; setup, maintain and remove TTM at a static worksite on the shoulder of a category A or B road; and Undertake inspection activities on category A and B road environments.

Tasks

STMS A & B- setup, maintain and remove TTM closure in the live lane with alternating flow control. 

Category A & B Traffic Management Assessing.

We can take care of the traffic management assessments for your staff.

Unit Standards:

US 31960 Maintain the TTM worksite, install and remove a worksite, and undertake an inspection activity

Level 3 - 10 Credits

Unit Standards:

US 31963 Operate as a practicing Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS) within a road environment as defined by COPTTM.

Level 3 - 20 Credits

Traffic Management Auditing.

We have extensive experience in audit worksite activity. Auditing is about lifting the game and educating the teams on the ground to better deliver a safer site.

Stakeholder Engagement.

We are capable of producing and distributing stakeholder information including material such as letter drops, VMS messaging, social media and works notification plans.

Physical Works.

We do not have Traffic Management crews or trucks to carry out physical work but do have a network of suppliers that we can link you with if you need assistance.

Traffic Impact Assessments.

We can help your project managers/engineers to consider the impact of a work site on the transport system to determine the level of traffic management and stakeholder engagement that is required.
